Prompts & Query Performance
The Prompts tab gives you query-level granularity — showing exactly how your brand performs on each individual prompt sent to AI platforms.
Query Performance Table
Every prompt EYE sends to AI platforms is tracked with:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Query | The exact prompt sent to AI platforms |
| Intent | Informational, transactional, comparison, or navigational |
| Your Mentions | How many platforms mentioned your brand for this query |
| Your Position | Average position across platforms |
| Sentiment | Sentiment of mentions for this specific query |
| Top Brand | Which brand was mentioned most for this query |
| Platform Breakdown | Per-platform results |
Intent Distribution
EYE classifies every query by intent type and shows your performance across each:
Informational
Queries seeking knowledge: "What is sensitive toothpaste?", "How does fluoride work?"
- These capture awareness-stage performance
- High mention rate here means AI platforms consider you a category authority
Transactional
Queries with purchase intent: "Best sensitive toothpaste to buy", "Where to buy Sensodyne"
- These capture decision-stage performance
- High mention rate here directly impacts sales
Comparison
Queries comparing brands: "Sensodyne vs Colgate", "Compare sensitive toothpaste brands"
- These capture consideration-stage performance
- Your position and sentiment here determine whether AI recommends you over competitors
Navigational
Queries about a specific brand: "Is Sensodyne good?", "Sensodyne reviews"
- These capture brand-specific performance
- Low quality here means AI has poor information about your brand
Top Performing Queries
Queries where your brand performs best — highest mentions, best position, most positive sentiment. These are your strengths. Understand what makes them work and replicate the pattern.
Worst Performing Queries
Queries where your brand underperforms — low mentions, poor position, negative sentiment, or not mentioned at all. These are your biggest opportunities. The Content Gaps tab provides specific recommendations for closing these gaps.
Platform Breakdown
For any individual query, see how each AI platform responded:
- Did ChatGPT mention you but Claude didn't?
- Did Perplexity rank you first but Gemini ranked you third?
- Is sentiment positive on one platform but negative on another?
Platform-level query analysis is especially useful for identifying platform-specific optimization opportunities. If Claude consistently ignores your brand for comparison queries, there may be a specific content gap in Claude's training data that you can address.
Using Prompt Data
The Prompts tab is most valuable for:
- Identifying winning topics — Which subjects does AI associate with your brand?
- Finding blind spots — Which queries should mention you but don't?
- Understanding intent gaps — Are you strong on informational but weak on transactional?
- Informing content strategy — Create content that targets your weakest queries
- Tracking keyword performance — See which of your configured keywords generate the best results
