Quickstart Guide
Get up and running with EYE in under 10 minutes.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Sign up at eye.synapsedata.cloud (opens in a new tab) with your email address. You'll receive a confirmation email — click the link to verify your account and log in.
Step 2: Create a Project
From the Projects page, click New Project. A project is the top-level container for all your brand monitoring.
| Field | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Project name | A descriptive label | "Sensodyne GSEO Tracking" |
| Target brand | The company or parent brand | "Haleon" |
| Product category | Your market category | "Oral Care" |
The project-level brand is the parent company. You'll set the specific product brand in the configuration step.
Step 3: Create a Configuration
Each project can have multiple configurations — each one is an independent analysis setup. Click New Configuration inside your project.
| Field | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Target brand | The specific brand/product to monitor | "Sensodyne" |
| Keywords | Search terms and topics to analyze | "sensitive toothpaste", "best toothpaste for sensitivity" |
| Competitors | Brands to compare against | "Colgate", "Crest", "Oral-B" |
| AI Platforms | Which AI models to query | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity |
| Language | Query language | English |
| Country | Market context | United States |
Configurations lock after the first analysis run to ensure data consistency across your time series. If you need different settings, create a new configuration.
Step 4: Run Your First Analysis
Click Run Analysis. EYE will:
- Generate prompts — Hundreds of relevant queries based on your keywords, category, and competitors
- Query AI platforms — Send prompts to all selected platforms simultaneously
- Analyze responses — Extract brand mentions, sentiment, positioning, citations, quality, and pricing signals
- Calculate scores — Compute your GSEO Score and populate all dashboard metrics
- Build insights — Generate alerts, recommendations, and competitive analysis
A typical analysis takes 2-5 minutes depending on the number of platforms and keywords.
Step 5: Explore Your Dashboard
Once the analysis completes, your results appear in the GSEO Dashboard — a single-surface workspace with 8 specialized tabs:
| Tab | What You'll Find |
|---|---|
| Overview | GSEO score, key metrics, alerts, recommendations |
| Brands | Share of voice, competitive positioning, head-to-head comparisons |
| Prompts | Query-level performance, intent distribution |
| Sources | Citation intelligence, domain diversity, source types |
| Journey | Customer journey funnel: Awareness → Consideration → Decision → Retention |
| Content Gaps | Topics where competitors outperform you |
| Action Plan | AI-generated strategic playbook |
| Runs | Analysis history, scheduling, comparison |
Every card supports drilldown panels (click the expand icon) and AI chat (click the sparkle icon) for instant insights.
Step 6: Generate Your Action Plan
Navigate to the Action Plan tab and click Generate Action Plan. The AI analyzes your entire dashboard and produces 15-20 specific, prioritized actions organized into five strategic pillars:
- Digital Media
- E-commerce
- Communication
- Business Strategy
- Retail Media
Actions are sorted from low-hanging fruit to long-tail strategic plays, each with expected GSEO improvement, ROI projections, effort level, and timeline.
