Creating a Project
A project is the top-level container for all your brand monitoring in EYE. Each project represents one brand or business unit that you want to track across AI platforms.
What Is a Project?
Think of a project as a folder that holds everything related to monitoring a specific brand:
- Analysis configurations — Different setups for different markets, languages, or product lines
- Dashboard data — All your GSEO metrics, trends, and competitive analysis
- Action plans — AI-generated strategic recommendations
- Buyer personas — Customer segment definitions
- Run history — Complete log of all analyses
Creating Your First Project
- Navigate to Projects in the sidebar
- Click New Project
- Fill in the project details:
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Project name | Yes | A descriptive name for this monitoring project |
| Target brand | Yes | The parent company or brand name |
| Product category | Yes | The market category you operate in |
The target brand at the project level is typically the parent company (e.g., "Haleon"). The specific product brand (e.g., "Sensodyne") is set at the configuration level. This allows you to monitor multiple product brands under one company project.
Project Examples
| Project Name | Target Brand | Category |
|---|---|---|
| Sensodyne GSEO Tracking | Haleon | Oral Care |

The number of projects you can create depends on your subscription plan:

Managing Projects
From the Projects page you can:
- Open a project to access its dashboard and configurations
- Edit project details (name, brand, category)
- Delete a project and all its associated data
Deleting a project permanently removes all configurations, analysis runs, dashboard data, and action plans. This cannot be undone.
